EnteroBiotix today announced that the first patient has been dosed in RISE, its Phase 2b clinical trial evaluating EBX-102-02 in moderate-to-severe irritable bowel syndrome with constipation (IBS-C), marking an important milestone in the Company’s clinical development programme.

EnteroBiotix today announced that data from its Phase 2a TrIuMPH trial of EBX-102-02 in irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) have been selected as a Poster of Distinction at Digestive Disease Week (DDW) 2026. The designation is awarded to abstracts rated in the top 10% of all submissions accepted for poster presentation. DDW 2026 takes place at McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago, Illinois, from 2–5 May 2026.

The funds will support one of the largest interventional clinical trials of a full-spectrum microbiome product, and the largest ever to be conducted in IBS. Dosing of first patient of the Phase 2b ‘RISE’ trial anticipated in Q2 2026, and topline efficacy data anticipated in H2 2027.

Today EnteroBiotix announced that the investigator-initiated Phase 2a MAST trial (Intestinal Microbiota Transplant prior to Allogeneic Stem Cell Transplantation) has completed its enrolment of 50 adult patients undergoing allogeneic haematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT) for defined haematological malignancies.

Clinically meaningful improvements in global IBS symptom severity observed as early as Week 1 and sustained through Week 7, with EBX-102-02 outperforming placebo throughout the study (final assessment at Week 7). Durable improvements observed across abdominal pain, bowel habit parameters and IBS-specific quality of life, with benefit demonstrated in both constipation and diarrhoea-predominant IBS. EBX-102-02 was well tolerated, with no serious drug-related adverse events reported.

Today EBX announced positive results from its Phase 1b clinical trial evaluating EBX-102, the Company’s next-generation oral full-spectrum microbiome product, in patients with liver cirrhosis.

Today we announced that results from our IMPuLCE Phase 1b trial evaluating EBX-102, the Company’s next-generation full-spectrum microbiome product, in patients with liver cirrhosis will be shared as an oral presentation at the European Association for the Study of the Liver (EASL) Congress 2025, taking place in Amsterdam, the Netherlands from 7-10 May 2025.
